Brief description of the institution

The Nursing Home of the Roman Catholic Church in Verőce has been operating since 1955. The objective of its historic mission is to care and nurse elderly nuns.

At the same time, to the extent our facilities permit, we also undertake the care of secular elderly ladies who want to spend some weeks in a home carrying Christian values to become rehabilitated in body and spirit, under the care of attendants and nurses.

We consider it important that the inhabitants of our institution find family type, pleasant, kind and free atmosphere.

Our principle of co-operation: We respect the character, the interests of one another arising from the position of the individuals. We consider it as our task to meet the rational requirements and provide quiet and peaceful living conditions for our residents.

Accomodation

In rooms with 1-2 beds. The rooms for patients have 3 and 4 beds.

Nursing

The home provides full care for persons who cannot look after themselves, or can only do it with assistance.

Services

In addition to therapeutic gymnastics curative massage is also available free of charge to the residents.

Holy mass

There are daily holy mass, rosary and evening prayer organised.

Access to the institution

By public road: From the direction of Budapest by highway No. 2/a then by road No. 12.

By bus: by buses travelling on schedule from the town of Vác.

By rail: From the Western Railway Station in Budapest, by passenger train travelling through Vác up to Szob.

Visiting time

Daily between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
