Brief description of the institution

Prior to 1950 the building operated as the nunnery of the Saint Vincent order of Graz. The life of the home continues to be determined by the traditional religious exercises of the nuns in the lovely and spacious chapel.

With its 72 capacity the home cares for elderly nuns and religious Catholic ladies. We perform a national task in nursing, caring for the elderly residents in the caring, nursing units established to meet the requirements in conformity with the physical and mental state of the inhabitants. The residents who can still care for themselves line in the
2-bed rooms on the ground and the first floors. The patients in need of care live in rooms with 3-, 4- or 5 beds.

Holy Mass

We have Holy Mass 4 times a week, on the other days we organise liturgical meetings. Prior to major holidays we have spiritual exercises.

Calvinist and Lutheran priests visit regularly non-Catholic residents.

Approach to the institution

The home is situated close to the town of Székesfehérvár, on the foot of the Vértes mountain, in a lovely surrounding.
From Budapest you have to turn from motorway M1 or highway 1 (earlier highway 100) in the direction to Székesfehérvár.
From the direction of Székesfehérvár it can be reached from motorway M7 and by the lower quality road from the direction of Tata and Tatabánya.
By bus: Budapest Erzsébet tér - Csákvár Székesfehérvár Piac tér - Csákvár

The home is situated in the centre of the village, 5 minutes walk from the bus stop.
