Thank you for your interest to the Service of Charity the Roman Catholic Church in Hungary and its nursing homes.

The Service of Charity was established in 1950 by the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference to remedy the situation which arose as a consequence of the dissolution of the religious orders. The first residents of our homes were from those religious orders. They brought a prayerful atmosphere in our homes and taught the staff how to live in a trusting relationship with God.
